Bday makeup

....So as promised I tried out the makeup ideas from the three YouTube videos I stumbled across last week,  please have mercy on me this is the first time I’ve ever experimented with extreme makeup. I have provided one open and one closed eye shot so that you can easily seen how it looks when I’m looking at you and also when you’re looking at me. So here goes nothing, my first attempt please comment and let me know how you thought I did as an amateur lol and which one you prefer. Tomorrow I’ll attempt the three again and see if I have improved lolll....

Pray for Japan

May God guide and protect their people the ones that have passed and the ones still living, times are hard right now and faith is something essential to them right now as well as hope, God i jus ask you to give them hope and faith; faith that all things are possible and hope for a brighter day. Only you know Lord the reasons behind the destruction of their country, but every action has a reaction and i know you shall build them a better world. Lord i just ask you to comfort them, guide them and quentch their thirst for answers, all this and more in the name of GOD. Amen
I purposely closed within ‘in the name of God’ as I am aware that not everyone reading this blog will be Christian, this statement allows all to be able to identify with the prayer I have composed, please leave comments of courage and hope for the people of Japan. Thank you

Japans misfortune

So of recent there have been a lot of unfortunate happenings in Japan, throughout last week they have experienced an earthquake and a tsunami and what once was one of the world’s greatest economical country has now turned to nothing short of a dumping ground. May the Lord have mercy on Japan.
With the whole Japanese disaster it got me really thinking about my bible and the end of the world, after watching the movie 2012 directed by Roland Emmerich I can’t even lie I have a strong feeling that 2012 will be the end of the world, and with all the happenings of late it has enhanced this thought. Just last year Haiti was brutally destroyed by an earthquake, plus numerous ongoing  wars are spiralling out of the holy land as well as  NOW the earthquake that has hit Japan followed by tsunami which also affected Hawaii and some areas of the USA. These collective thoughts and observations bought my attention to a bible verse I had come across:
21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

So is the world coming to an end? That for you to decide all I know is that 2012 for me will be spent in the heart of Africa; Congo

O na na wots my name

I was just sitting here chilin thinking about life when a friend of mine sent me this pic>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
random you think, I highly disagree. So I have a habit of representing summer all year round, its jus something I really cannot help so the latest craze in the summer collection was my ‘Rihanna hair’, the hair that my friend described as a fire truck hairdo...originally my hair style had no association with Rihanna’s new look at the time but I guess it just all fell into place nicely and i had to remix it.

Shoe whore

Shoes are a girl’s best friend I mean you can never ever have too many pairs, sooo I’m a certified shoe whore. I purchase, use and abuse my shoes :*(, well as you can see from the state of my room *covers face*I’m in love with shoes as well as D&G watches that my cousin got me hooked on, it may look like a lot but there is always room for more. So since Christmas (2010) I’ve been obsessed with Versace shoes from last year’s spring/summer collection. When first launched the shoes in this collection were ranged at between £1’450 and £1’000, unfortunately but fortunately for me only one style is still available; Dvea at a whooping £675

Fally Ipupa @ O2

So I am a certified lover of Congolese music, I slyly think I’m their number one fan...in my past life I am more that 1000% sure that I was from Congo (Maury tlk lool). But yeah it’s not a surprise to know that I am always up to date when it comes to their music and the latest dance moves, for me le le le by Werrason is really doing it and Tchoumakaya from the Cote d’ivorie region by Oudy 1 er. However, my husband Mr.Tshilengi lengi himself blows me away, the way he rotates his hips is sensational, he “supposedly” has a concert in London next weekend @ O2, unfortunately due the continuous disappointments when it comes to him and UK concerts I will not be attending, so tshilengi lengi and bicarbonate will just have to be watched on DVD and YouTube for me until I touch Congo. Well for those of you interested he “supposedly” is hosting a concert in the O2 on 18th and 19th March, tickets are priced at between £38 and £55.

Sad tyms

So for the past two days my TV has been stuck on style network (sky  253), only Jesus has the answer as to how and why my TV was on this station is the 1st place, but what I do know is I’ve found a new TV show I like; Jerseylicious, OMD I am officially addicted to this show now it’s unreal. When I watch the show I slyly wish I could be living like that; good job, able to dress up every day of my life, live in a place where the sun rises and sets with heat everyday.....and the...I realise this is reality where I live is Londonlicious where even summer is dam cold, I work 3 jobs and still have no money :*( I guess I just gotta live with that until a better opportunity arises. But everyone tune in for the new season on 253 Wednesday @ 9

Changes

Wooow I actually can’t believe it!!!! :s if someone told me 4years ago that I’d be in love with fashion, addicted to shoes and able to actually enjoy other genres of music apart from bashment and afrobeats i would ave had a fit :O like OMG. Don’t get me wrong I still love my bashment and afrobeats to the max but I have soooooo learnt to appreciate other types of music and identify with it. So I’m so feeling this chick Shea Rose her music is actually hot and most of its rock :/ *Poochie’s looking to the future* lool her music takes me to my reggae rock star element :D, and then there is Jessie J I still can’t place my finger on what it is that draws me to her but I love her music.

New meets old

Of recent I’ve been doing a lot of visiting the past, the whole “going to uni” mind set has got me thinking about the direction in which I want to head my life, but as we all know before you can ever truly know where you’re going you have to know where you’re coming from. So these day I literally sit there and zone out reminiscing on shit that’s happened, and then I discovered a whole new me that I never even knew existed. Sometime its good and healthy to just say STOP, PAUSE, and REWIND trust me it’ll make you say WOOOOW.
